| Westwood House is a beautiful Georgian town house set in the stunning location of the historic market town of Dorchester. Built by Lord Ilchester in 1815 to house his coachmen, Westwood House has now become a glorious Dorset bed and breakfast, and home to its proud owners Demelza and Tom Stevens. The accommodation is charming, and you will find your hosts are very welcoming and whole-heartedly accommodating.

You may choose from a family room, a large double, a superior double with a king-sized bed or twin beds, a large double with a sitting room area and sofa bed, or a standard double room.

Demelza and Toms superb breakfast consists of: smoked back bacon, Cumberland sausage, black pudding, hash browns, Heinz baked beans, roast tomato, mushrooms, and poached, fried or scrambled eggs. There is a vegetarian option available, where the sausages are vegetarian, and there are extra tomatoes, mushrooms and hash browns.

Alternatively you could choose smoked salmon with scrambled eggs, or poached haddock with poached eggs. Naturally whatever you choose it is first rate and accompanied by lashings of hot buttered toast, freshly brewed coffee, and a selection of teas, all served in the light and airy conservatory.
